• You will need to purchase the 1963-1979 J-Truck sending unit (VIEW HERE), which will read correctly for 1980-1985 models ONLY (1986-1988 models will require an alternative solution). Available to purchase in pull down menu above.
• The tank must be spaced down from the bed to clear the sending unit.
• Fuel lines will need to be extended.
• If the vent nipple interferes with the bed support rail, a notch can be made to clear it.
• You will also need to purchase 63-79 Fuel Tank straps if you need to replace your original, available to purchase in pull down menu above
