Planning a Gen V LS swap in your Full Size Jeep? Novak’s MMSJ-G5 engine mount kit takes the guesswork out of positioning, strength, and clearance. Built specifically for 1980–1991 FSJs, these mounts are designed to make installing a GM Generation V (Gen 5) small block V8 both precise and reliable.
Each kit includes frame-side brackets, engine block plates, upper and lower urethane isolators, and Grade 8 hardware. The mounts are CNC-formed from 3/16" thick steel and engineered to handle the torque of even high-performance V8s without flex or fatigue. Novak’s compact layout maintains full clearance around factory components including steering boxes, brake boosters, and heater boxes.
Installation is bolt-in, but for maximum strength Novak recommends adding a perimeter weld after positioning. You’ll need to remove the original frame mounts from any Tornado, Buick, or AMC engine configuration before starting.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
