Description

AMC 290-401 c.i. 8 CYL. 1974-1991 Full Size Jeeps. Hydraulic-Best cam for 360-401 with stock converter. Works well with headers and aftermarket intake. Mild rough idle. Magnum Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts. All COMP Cams Camshafts are manufactured to the strictest tolerances. Rigorously tested and checked for quality. **Note** Stock valve springs CANNOT be used with this camshaft. 

Complete Kit Includes: Camshaft, Lifters, Valve Springs, Retainers, Valve Locks, Valve Stem Seals, Timing Chain Set, Assembly Lube (in flat tappet applications), Decals and Instructions.

  • Advertised duration: 270 intake/ 270 exhaust
  • Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 224 intake/224 exhaust
  • Gross valve lift: .480 in. intake/.480 in. exhaust
  • Lobe separation: 110 degrees
  • Basic rpm range: 1,800 to 5,800
  • Great cam for 360-401 with stock converter. Works well with headers and aftermarket intake. Mild rough idle.
  • Recommended compression ratio for 360:  approximately 9.5:1

What Are My Shipping Fees?

For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund.
