An A/C Expansion Valve is a critical component in your vehicle's air conditioning system. Its primary function is to regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil. By doing so, it ensures that the refrigerant expands properly and absorbs heat from the cabin air, allowing the A/C system to cool the air effectively.
These valves are made using quality materials to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Signs that an A/C expansion valve might be failing include inconsistent cooling, where the system fails to provide even or adequate cooling; warm air blowing from the vents despite setting the A/C to cold; excessive frost or ice buildup on the evaporator coil, indicating over-refrigeration; refrigerant leaks around the valve area; unusual noises such as hissing or clunking from the A/C system; and erratic performance, where the cooling output is unpredictable.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
