This High-Flow Robertshaw-style thermostat is designed to work in conjunction with high-flow cooling systems, making it an excellent match for Full Size Jeeps—especially those running upgraded high flow water pumps or experiencing temperature instability at higher RPM.

Unlike conventional thermostats that can struggle to maintain control as coolant pressure rises, this balanced, high-performance design is engineered to open at its rated temperature regardless of engine speed. In many cooling systems, coolant pressure and temperature compete at higher RPM, preventing standard thermostats from opening fully or consistently. This design eliminates that problem, allowing the cooling system to regulate temperature accurately under real-world driving conditions.

The thermostat is constructed using brass-and-copper components, improving durability and resistance to metal fatigue. A precision power-activated piston assembly responds quickly to temperature changes, while the one-piece bypass poppet and short-stroke piston design reduce stress and improve long-term reliability. The contoured brass strut further enhances coolant flow compared to traditional stamped steel designs.
