32" Tilt Steering Column (with key) and 1"-48 Shaft with a beautiful polished stainless finish! Perfect for 1973-1985 Wagoneer, 1974-1983 Cherokee, 1984-1985 Grand Wagoneer, and 1974-1985 J-Series Trucks! Includes your basic gear shift indicator lens and integrated ignition key right into the Tilt Column. The key is located at the 3 o’clock position. No welded on attachments or extra relays.
Modeled after the popular muscle car Tilt Key Columns, but still attractive enough to put in your classic Full Size Jeep. Columns are made from 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, are chemically clean, and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation.

You'll more than likey need this Billet-Joint Steering Universal Joint to ensure everything is compatible for your Full Size Jeep. Flaming River Billet-Joint steering universal joints are CNC-machined from aircraft-quality billet steel or stainless steel to precision tolerances. They feature a sealed, needle-bearing design that will outlast normal steering joints, while providing positive steering response with no backlash.

What is the difference between a key and non-key steering column? A steering column in a vehicle can come in two main types regarding ignition system placement: with a key (keyed) and without a key (non-keyed or keyless).
Keyed Steering Column: This type of steering column has an ignition lock cylinder integrated into it. Turning the key in the cylinder activates the ignition switch and starts the vehicle. Keyed steering columns have been standard in vehicles for many decades. They provide a direct mechanical interface for starting the car, engaging the steering lock, and sometimes for additional functions like steering wheel adjustment.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
