The woodgrain vinyl decal and the trim molding that outlines it are signature design features of the Grand Wagoneer.  This trim has been tested and installed on hundreds of Full Size Jeeps over the years, including many high profile builds, more than any other option ever on the market. 

This professionally manufactured kit includes closed-style woodgrain trim for every section of the driver side, passenger side, and tailgate. Each piece is precision-cut using custom-designed tooling to create clean edges and flush corners, while the premium woodgrain finish delivers the factory-style look these Grand Wagoneers are known for.

The woodgrain plugs have been replaced with pre-installed VHB (Very High Bond) 3M double-sided automotive-grade tape designed for a long-term secure application and durability in any climate. No drilling required!

Individual Sections: When purchasing individual trim sections, please keep in mind that our reproduction woodgrain trim will have a slightly different color and grain appearance than original factory trim, especially if your existing trim has faded over time. If you need to replace more than one section, we recommend purchasing the complete trim molding kit for the most consistent, visually balanced exterior appearance. The full kit also offers a much better overall value compared to purchasing each section individually.

Pro Installation Tips:

• Surface preparation is the most important part of a successful installation. Treat the surface of your Grand Wagoneer like it is being prepped for paint. The cleaner the surface, the better the 3M adhesive will bond.

  We recommend cleaning the area in this order:

  1. Soap and water
  2. Wax and grease remover used to prep for paint or reduced isopropyl alcohol to 70% using distilled water (do NOT use tap water)
  3. Glass cleaner
  4. Use clean, paint-prep style towels only 
  5. Allow 40-45 minutes to outgas. Wear clean gloves to avoid transferring oils from your hands back onto the surface.

   

• A heat gun is required: The trim must be warmed as you install it so it becomes flexible enough to follow the shape of the vehicle. Warm the trim gradually one small section at a time and keep the heat gun moving. Do not overheat one area. Heating the trim as you install it allows you to:
  • Position the trim more accurately
  • Form clean, flush corners
  • Help the trim settle into body grooves and contours
  • Improve the final fit and appearance
