Description

Replace a worn, damaged, or restricted catalytic converter with this heavy-duty replacement designed for 1979–1980 Full Size Jeep Cherokee models equipped with the AMC 360 5.9L V8.

This converter features 2.5-inch inlet and outlet connections and is sized for the airflow requirements of the AMC 360 engine. Its universal-style design allows it to be incorporated into the original exhaust system or used when rebuilding the exhaust from the converter rearward.

Because this converter is shorter than the original factory-style converter assembly, additional 2.5-inch exhaust tubing and fabrication will be required during installation. This makes it a good option for vehicles receiving a new muffler, tailpipe, or other exhaust-system components at the same time.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.

What Are My Shipping Fees?

For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
