Upgrade your lifted Full Size Jeep with a complete set of four BDS NX2 Nitro Series shocks designed for vehicles equipped with approximately 4 inches of suspension lift.
The NX2 Series uses a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving to provide controlled handling without sacrificing ride quality. The valving automatically reacts to changing road and trail conditions, helping provide a comfortable highway ride while maintaining better control over rough terrain.
This set includes two different shock lengths to accommodate the front and rear suspension requirements of Full Size Jeeps. These are fixed-length shocks and are not externally adjustable. Shock placement varies depending on the year and suspension configuration of the vehicle, so the longer and shorter pairs should be installed in their correct front or rear positions for the specific application.
NX2 shocks feature a hardened chrome piston rod, self-lubricating seals, durable metallic silver finish, and included mounting bushings. These twin-tube shocks are designed to be installed body down with the piston rod facing upward.
This set includes two different shock lengths to accommodate the front and rear suspension geometry used across Full Size Jeep models. On early 1963–1973 Wagoneer and Gladiator/J-Series applications, the longer shocks are typically installed in the front and the shorter shocks in the rear. On later 1974–1991 Full Size Jeeps, including Wagoneer, Cherokee SJ, Grand Wagoneer, J10, and J20 models, the arrangement is generally reversed, with the shorter shocks installed in the front and the longer shocks in the rear. Because suspension geometry, lift components, and previous modifications can vary, shock placement should always be verified during installation rather than assumed solely by shock length.
