This COMP Cams High Energy Pushrod Set is designed for AMC V8 304–401 engine applications using the factory-style 7.794" pushrod length. Sold as a complete set of 16, these pushrods are a strong choice for street-driven AMC V8 builds, driver restorations, mild performance upgrades, and dependable daily-use engines.
Pushrods are a critical part of the valvetrain, transferring movement from the lifters to the rocker arms. Worn, bent, incorrect-length, or low-quality pushrods can contribute to valvetrain noise, poor rocker geometry, inconsistent valve motion, and accelerated wear. This set provides a quality replacement option when refreshing or rebuilding an AMC V8 valvetrain.
The High Energy series is built from heat-treated steel for durability and is designed to meet or exceed OE-style pushrod requirements. These pushrods are compatible with guideplates and are designed to work well with COMP Cams High Energy and Magnum rocker arm combinations.
This is a practical pushrod set for AMC V8 owners looking for reliable valvetrain components without stepping into an overly aggressive race-only setup.
These are a universal pushrod set with factory length for '70+ AMC V8 304-401 at 7.794" Long, 5/16" Diameter. Always verify pushrod length and valvetrain geometry when using aftermarket cylinder heads, non-stock rocker arms, performance camshafts, resurfaced heads, decked blocks, or other modified valvetrain components.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
