Upgrade your Full Size Jeep from a carburetor to self-tuning fuel injection for easier starting, smoother drivability, and less time adjusting fuel delivery. The Holley Sniper 2 EFI Master System replaces a compatible four-barrel carburetor with electronic fuel injection while keeping a familiar throttle-body layout under the hood.
Both versions include the polished four-barrel throttle body, a 3.5-inch color touchscreen, and an inline fuel system. Choose the standard Master System or add the Holley Power Module for simpler power distribution and easier electrical troubleshooting.
Self-Tuning Without a Laptop
The touchscreen setup wizard walks you through a few questions about your engine and creates the starting calibration. The included Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband oxygen sensor monitors the exhaust, allowing the system to learn and adjust fueling as you drive. No laptop or previous EFI tuning experience is required for the initial setup.
The touchscreen also displays engine information and provides access to adjustments. It does not need to remain connected after the initial setup is completed, making this a practical option for owners who want to preserve the appearance of their original dashboard.
Updated Electronics and Smoother Throttle Operation
Sniper 2 features redesigned throttle linkage for a smoother pedal feel, improved resistance to electrical interference, and a contactless throttle-position sensor. The engine computer is mounted directly on the throttle body, eliminating a separate ECU box. Rear-exiting wiring and an internal fuel crossover help keep the installation organized.
Choose Your Power Module Option
Without Power Module: Includes the Sniper 2 EFI Master System with conventional wiring-harness connections. This version provides the same self-tuning fuel-injection capability without the additional Power Distribution Module.
With Power Module: Adds Holley’s Power Distribution Module, or PDM, which brings EFI and compatible ignition-system power connections together in one location. Labeled screw terminals simplify wiring, while built-in relay circuits support the EFI/ignition system, fuel pump, and a compatible electric cooling fan. Diagnostic LED indicators help identify circuit status when troubleshooting.
The Power Module is particularly useful when installing a compatible HyperSpark ignition system alongside the EFI conversion. Ignition components are sold separately.
Master Kit Includes the Inline Fuel System
Both options include an inline electric fuel pump, an external fuel-pressure regulator, fuel filters, 20 feet of 3/8-inch Vapor Guard fuel hose, fittings, installation hardware, and a fuel-tank return-line bulkhead fitting.
This is a return-style fuel system with an externally mounted pump, not an in-tank pump conversion. Fuel pressure is controlled by the included external regulator—not by a regulator built into the throttle body.
The EFI package also includes the wiring harness, coolant-temperature sensor, wideband oxygen sensor, and oxygen-sensor installation hardware. Vehicle-specific intake adapters, throttle brackets, transmission-linkage components, or ignition adapters may be required.
Fitment Notes
This is a universal EFI conversion, not a vehicle-specific plug-and-play kit. Requires a compatible 4150-style, square-bore four-barrel mounting flange. Factory two-barrel intakes and other four-barrel mounting patterns require an appropriate adapter or replacement intake.
Confirm throttle operation, transmission-linkage compatibility, air-cleaner clearance, and hood clearance before installation. The throttle body’s linkage provisions do not guarantee direct compatibility with every original Jeep transmission arrangement.
Holley’s installation guidance specifies a mechanically sound engine in the 200–650 HP application range. Confirm suitability for lower-output stock engines before ordering. Existing engine, ignition, and vacuum-leak problems must be addressed; self-tuning EFI does not repair these conditions.
Fuel-only operation can retain a compatible existing ignition system. EFI-controlled ignition timing requires additional compatible ignition components. A distributor, ignition box, and ignition coil are not included. Solid-core spark-plug wires are not compatible.
The four main vehicle connections are battery positive, battery negative, switched ignition, and RPM. Fuel-pump and sensor connections are also required. The switched ignition source must remain powered during both cranking and running.
The included display is the 3.5-inch touchscreen. The 5-inch display, Bluetooth interface, and HyperSpark ignition components are optional upgrades sold separately.
Holley classifies these kits as Emissions Code 3 and states they must not be installed on emissions-controlled vehicles. Confirm application eligibility before purchase.
