This Edelbrock Performer 600 CFM 4-Barrel Carburetor with EGR is a dependable street-performance upgrade for Full Size Jeeps with AMC V8 engines using a compatible square-bore 4-barrel intake manifold.
The 600 CFM rating makes this carburetor a strong choice for stock or mildly built AMC V8 engines where throttle response, drivability, reliability, and consistent street performance are the priorities. It is a practical upgrade for Wagoneer, Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, and J-Series owners looking for more responsive performance than a tired or worn factory carburetor setup.
The Performer Series carburetor is designed to hold a consistent tune and provide smooth fuel delivery for daily driving, weekend use, and general street performance. Its metering rod design allows smooth transition between fuel circuits, and because it does not use traditional power valves, it is not prone to power valve failure from engine backfires.
This carburetor features an electric choke, satin finish, lightweight aluminum body, and a two-piece design that helps resist warping. The simple bowl design and rear-pivot floats contribute to reliable operation, while the factory calibration makes it a strong bolt-on option when used with the proper intake, linkage, fuel line, and air cleaner setup.
This carburetor is commonly paired with an Edelbrock Performer-style square-bore intake manifold and is well suited for stock or mildly built AMC engines.
It is not a direct bolt-on replacement for factory 2-barrel intake setups unless the intake manifold has been upgraded.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
