This Edelbrock #1901 AVS2 500 CFM 4-Barrel Carburetor is designed and calibrated for small cubic-inch, single-carb applications, making it a strong street-performance upgrade for Full Size Jeeps with AMC V8 engines using a compatible square-bore 4-barrel intake manifold, such as the Edelbrock Performer Non-EGR intake.
The 500 CFM rating makes this carburetor a good match for stock or mildly built AMC V8 engines where throttle response, drivability, and reliability are more important than simply running the largest carburetor possible. This is a practical choice for Wagoneer, Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, and J-Series owners looking for a dependable 4-barrel carburetor setup.
The AVS2 series uses an annular booster design, which helps improve fuel atomization and throttle response, especially at lower RPM and part-throttle driving. That makes it well-suited for heavier Full Size Jeeps that spend most of their time cruising, driving around town, trail riding, or pulling from lower engine speeds.
This carburetor features an electric choke, satin finish, aluminum body construction, and a two-piece design that allows easier tuning and service without removing the carburetor from the intake manifold. It also includes both timed vacuum and full manifold vacuum ports for ignition advance tuning.
This carburetor is commonly paired with an Edelbrock Performer-style Non-EGR AMC V8 intake manifold and is calibrated for single-carb applications.
Edelbrock carburetors are not designed for alcohol, race fuel, or E85. Use of alcohol-based fuel or E85 can damage the carburetor and may void the manufacturer warranty.
A new fuel filter must be installed between the fuel pump and carburetor. Failure to use a proper fuel filter may void the manufacturer warranty.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
