This Edelbrock #1902 AVS2 500 CFM 4-Barrel Carburetor is a strong upgrade option for Full Size Jeeps running an AMC V8 with a compatible square-bore intake manifold, such as the Edelbrock Performer Non-EGR intake.
The AVS2 series is designed for smooth street performance, improved throttle response, and consistent fuel delivery. The 500 CFM rating makes this carburetor well-suited for stock or mildly built AMC V8 engines where drivability, reliability, and clean throttle transition matter more than an oversized carburetor.
This carburetor uses Edelbrock’s AVS2 annular flow booster design to improve fuel atomization, especially at low RPM and part-throttle operation. That makes it a good match for heavy Full Size Jeeps that spend most of their time cruising, driving around town, trail riding, or pulling from lower engine speeds.
The lightweight aluminum body helps dissipate heat faster than heavier cast designs, reducing heat soak and improving consistency. The two-piece body design resists warping and allows internal tuning changes without removing the carburetor from the intake manifold.
This carburetor includes both timed vacuum and full manifold vacuum ports for ignition advance tuning and is factory calibrated for single-carb applications.
Edelbrock carburetors are not designed for alcohol, race fuel, or E85. Use of alcohol-based fuel or E85 can damage the carburetor and may void the manufacturer warranty.
A new fuel filter must be installed between the fuel pump and carburetor. Failure to use a proper fuel filter may void the manufacturer warranty.

Reconditioned parts come with a minimum warranty of 90 days, unless otherwise stated (Refer to product listing for warranty duration). The warranty is void if the parts are not returned in the same condition in which they are sold. Warranties for aftermarket parts are covered by the manufacturer.
What Are My Shipping Fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JeepRecyclers.com/McDaniel Motor Co. error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided. The flat fee for each item being returned can be found in the chart below:
